Sarawak Governor's Birthday is one of three public holidays that are exclusive to Sabah, the other 2 being Good Friday and Gawai Dayak Day.

Sarawak is a state in the Malaysian part of Borneo.

The office of Governor was established in 1957. The governor is the head of state in Sabah and also known as Yang di-Pertua Negeri.
