How to get to Teluk Chempedak
TC is located about 10-15min (5km) to the east of the city centre. The easiest way to get there would be by car / taxi but there are also regular local buses.

There are a few guesthouses near the beach. The main hotel at the beach front is Hyat Regency Kuantan Hotel.
Being so close to the Kuantan city, TC is a popular spot to be visited by families, especially on the weekends.

During the rainy season (monsoon, November - February), swimming is strictly forbidden because of the rough sea during that time. This photo was taken during this time period in mid February.
