between RM0.70 and RM5.10 depending how long the journey is.
The tickets, which are actually plastic tokens, are sold at ticketing machines at the stations, so keep small bills and change ready.

The 2 LRT lines (actually 2 and a half lines, since the Ampang lines splits towards Ampang and Sri Petaling at the Chan Sow Lin station) and the Monorail are both operated by Rapid KL so you can directly interchange at the following stations:
Hang Tuah (LRT Ampang Line to Monorail)
Titiwangsa (LRT Ampang Line to Monorail)
Masjid Jamek (LRT Ampang Line to LRT Kelana Jaya line)

Both LRT lines run driverless automated trains. The trains on the Kelana Jaya line even have front-facing windows allowing a scenic view ahead of the train. The LRT runs above ground, mostly elevated. The downtown section of the Kelana Jaya line runs underground as a subway between the Pasar Seni station and Ampang Park station).
