Kuala Terengganu

Kuala Terengganu is located at on at the east coast of the peninsula at the mouth of the Sungai Terengganu river. It’s the capital of the state of Terengganu which forms together with Kedah and Kelatan the heartland of malay culture. KT is good stop for one or 2 days before moving on along the eastcoast or towards the National Park / Tasik Kenyir. There are also day trips available to Pulau Rendang (Island) and Tasik Kenyir (Lake)

Surfing in KL

Weekend waves can be found mid afternoon and early evening at Sunway Lagoon around 20-30min from Bukit Bintang by taxi or 90min by public transport. Bodyboards and surfboards available to hire.

Eat more Indian food!!!

There’s an absolutely faboulous Indian restaurant called “Bollywood” almost next to Red Palm. If you get out just turn right and you can’t miss it.

P.S.: The best thing about it: NO LAMPU NEON!

KL Hop-on Hop-off Bus

A good way to see all major sights of the city is the take the hop-on hop-off bus.
It’s bus that a route that covers most of the major sights and you can get on and off anywhere you like. You just pay once and can use it for 24 hours.

Some of the stops: KL Sentral, Chinatown, Bukit Bintang, KLCC (Twin Towers), Titiwangsa, Merdeka Square, Lake Gardens.
