A good way to see all major sights of the city is the take the hop-on hop-off bus.
It’s bus that a route that covers most of the major sights and you can get on and off anywhere you like. You just pay once and can use it for 24 hours.
Some of the stops: KL Sentral, Chinatown, Bukit Bintang, KLCC (Twin Towers), Titiwangsa, Merdeka Square, Lake Gardens.
