If your on Long Beach check out Bintang View, a collection of five beautiful chalets, hand built by Joe and look after by his Irish partner Fionola. They are sure to give you a warm welcome, as they did us. It’s a five minute walk from the beach, the view as to die for and its so peaceful at night. If you fancy snokelling, Joe will take you on his famous tour of the islands, he’ll make sure you see the shark’s and the giant turtle’s. A holiday to remember!

Taxis

Taxis drivers can be good and bad. It’s usually best to go by meter but some won’t turn them on unless you convince them otherwise. A short ride within the city centre of KL shouldn’t cost you more than RM10. When you arrive at KLIA make sure you go to the official taxi counter to prevent being ripped off. Same applies to the KL Sentral railway station.
