Hill resort at 1,500 meters above sea-level on the Titiwangsa mountain range, about 100km north of Kuala Lumpur. Originally set up as a tin-ore trading post in the 1890s, it consists of seven hills.

Fraser’s Hill is nice get-away if you want to escape from KL for a while and enjoy fresh, cooler air. It’s a rather quiet place, you hike along 3 different trails (register at the Tourist Information Center before you go, just in case anything happens), watch birds or play golf.

How to get to Fraser’s Hill:

Bus services from Kuala Kubu Bahru (KKB) are currently at halt as there will be a change of bus operator in that area.

First option: (recommended as it is less hassle)

Komuter from KL Sentral to KKB, then taxi to Fraser’s Hill
- Buy commuter ticket from KL Sentral to KKB (RM 5-6)
- Transit at Rawang Station and get on the commuter to KKB
- At KKB Station, take taxi to Fraser’s Hill (RM70)

Second option:

Bus from Bangkok Bank to Rawang, then bus to KKB, then taxi to Fraser’s Hill
- Take Metro bus from Bangkok Bank to Rawang (RM 3.20) - bus number not sure, check with the bus drivers
- Change bus (red colour) from rawang to KKB (RM 2-3)
- Take taxi from KKB to Fraser’s Hill (RM70)

*do not pay more than RM80 for taxi and try to negotiate

*Metro bus runs about every 30 minutes at Bangkok Bank, near Central Market in KL
